Glasgow school of Art or Edinburgh college of art? For Fine Art?

im currently in s6 and I applied to 5 different unis for fine art. currently i have offers from the two unis i want to go too the most… glasgow school of art (gsa) - for painting + printmaking and edinburgh college of art (eca). Im having a reallyyyy hard time deciding what to do as i keep seeing lots of different people saying lots of different things. if anyone can tell me anything about both the courses that would be so greatttt! also if anyone else has offers for either pleaseee reply too  all help would be appreciated as it’s driving me nuts

Have you had a chance to visit each uni before? In particular have you had a chance to go on an offer holder day as well - these are sometimes a bit more "focused" and also for the students, laid back (as you already have the offer!) and I understand can be a good way to get a better feel for the department, people, etc. So would def recommend seeing if you can do that - also I think visiting in person is probably particularly valuable for creative arts courses so you can see e.g. studio provision, any specialist facilities available that might be relevant to your practice, as well as see what kind of work students there create (and see if you can infer whether the direction of the department aligns with your practice so as to develop you more in the direction you want to go)

Hi! I applied to GSA for fine art to enter this year as well, it is my top choice since the facilities look really good and I love Glasgow as a city. I still havent heard back from them with an offer/ interview yet, I was wondering when you got an answer from them, if you have done an interview and how it went? Thanks! Im starting to get really nervous waiting on a decision:frown:
