Costume at RCSSD?

I've been offered a place to study Costume Production at Royal Central and wondered if anyone has any experiences with this course? I know that RCSSD is a top drama school but how is it with backstage elements? What are the opportunities to meet and connect with industry professionals etc?

Thank you!

I see you've not had a reply for a couple of weeks, so I'll jump in. My knowledge resides in Acting but i am familiar with the big 4 London drama schools.

I know the LAMDA, RADA and Central production courses are hugely respected in the industry. From what I understand, many alumni go on to work on big productions all over.

Search for the alumni from this course and you will be able to see if their destinations align with your aspirations:

Notable Alumni and Work:

Jonathan Burniston: Costume Maker on Cruella, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast.

Brony Tyrrell: Prop Maker for Thor, The Avengers, and Snow White and the Huntsmen.

Khadija Raza: Set and Costume Designer, winner of the 2017 Linbury Prize and 2018 Stage Debut Award.

Ruth Sutcliffe: Winner of Best Set Design at the 2012 Off West End Theatre Awards.

Rosie Elnile: 2017 Stage Debut Award winner for Best Designer.

Congratulations and very best wishes for September!
