LSE Warwick Economics

Wondering if anyones heard anything for Economics at LSE & Warwick, additionally, do you think my TMUA (4.7) is alright for either. I applied it in October, still not heard anything I know they like to take their time

I amstill waiting on Warwick E&M. I have seen a wave of Econ offers from Warwick last week. 4.7 TMUA would be below the 5 threshold at Warwick for a reduced offer, but by no means a rule-out. I know sb got an offer foe Econ and had not sat TMUA (international, though). For LSE probably a bit low, but who knows with them what makes them tick! Good luck

I don't think we know officially for this year. It was 5 last year.

It’s pretty normal to not hear back from Warwick Econ yet. It’s a popular course and a lot of people hear quite late, so don’t worry too much.

A 4.7 in TMUA is kind of in the middle. It’s not high, but it’s not that far off either, so it’s not a clear no. It really depends on your overall application and how competitive the year is. Just wait and see for now.

a 4.7 this year is pretty good, its around the 70th percentile this year according to tmua.co.uk. People got UCL Economics with a 3.1+, so I guarantee 4.7 is more than good enough for Warwick.
