returning to study after a break

Hi,

I have taken a break in studying an OU degree. I am looking to return to finish the degree, BSc Combined STEM

I haven't studied any modules for 3 years but have been on an OU approved study break and will resume the same degree in October 2026.

During the last academic 3 years, I have been at another university full time studying another degree for which I received student finance from SFE so have made full time applications for those years.

Should I apply as a continuing student for part time student finance?

Hi dw1177,

You would apply as a new part time student and the assessors would be able to convert this to a returning part time application if applicable.
