I did GCSE higher maths and I think that it definitely isn't impossible to learn everything in 2 months. For revision, you should watch some videos that go through a few example questions, then do some practice questions afterwards to see if you really understood the videos and the steps you have to take for each type of question.

Maybe do a past paper for the higher tier under timed conditions after revising and compare your score to the grade boundaries for that year to see if you would have gotten a 6 or above. Since foundation is grade 1 - 5 and higher is 4 - 9, there isn't any point of doing the higher unless you get a grade that you can only get in higher tier because the paper will obviously be harder.

What is your exam board?

Do some past papers to find which topics you need to revise.

Edexcel past papers amd mark schemes here [don't buy the predicted papers]:

Are you having lessons at school?

So when are you applying to university?

When do you plan to retake Maths?

My suggestions will depend on the timescale

The best way to cover the whole spec is to use Dr Frost.

It's free to register and it covers everything. https://www.drfrost.org/students

MathsMadeEasy goes through topics by grade so that's quite useful.

worksheets: https://mmerevise.co.uk/gcse-maths-revision/gcse-maths-worksheets/

Do you thnk you can cover all of this in a few weeks?

Foundation may be the better choice if you're aiming for grade 5, higher may be doable but only with steady practice. Science your U was for not revising not ability, you can absolutely re learning the content by May using short topic videos and small sets of exam questions.

Doing all of higher maths is possible since you only failed due to lack of revision. If you lock in and do some past papers you could totally pull it off.

Trust me, do higher. Use first class maths with a video on every topic and then do the questions related to those and every weekend start doing a normal paper and a aiming for a greave (1 or 2 grades above what you want). After you do all of first class maths revision materials swap to maths genie and do there topic papers, and some of there half papers. Obviously use first class maths and maths genie’s solutions to mark your answers. With past papers get them of of maths genie and mark very harshly or if you want to get chat gpt or another ai to mark some of the harder questions for you and if you get really stuck on a paper use video solutions on maths genie to sort it out and if you are still stuck on topics I hate to say it but tik tok is actually quite useful. Hope this helps and we are both going to get an easy grade 9. Good luck
