Scots Law rejection Uni of Glasgow

Uni of Glasgow law

I js got rejected for Glasgow for Scots Law/Politics because i didn’t meet the S5 requirements, im SIMD 40 so i do get adjusted requirements and Ive done reach and my Lnats and have got a B first try, on the 2026 adjusted offers book, it says people who are in SIMD 30-40 don’t have a min requirement for S5 if they do Reach and i have done reach, ive also done Sutton trust, Im wondering if there is any point of me appealing

I do not understand the detail of all that, but if you think they have made a procedural error then contact them and point it out.

I would appeal the post code data is a mystery ask them what they have you as and double check against the Scot gov website data. Often they don't line up.

Yes, I was rejected Thursday night. I’m a young carer, so also didn’t have an S5 minimum though it was the reason for my rejection. I appealed my rejection that same night through the contact form on the Uni website, and also emailed the young carer point of contacts basically saying that I didn’t think it was fair and would I be able to be considered. My offer was given on Friday night, though I didn’t see it until Sunday. I hadn’t/ still havent heard anything back from anything about my appeal, so I don’t know if they clocked the mistake without actually seeing my appeal.

Me too! I think this has been a common issue. I emailed reach who contacted admissions.
