MSc Scholarship/Research Opportunities

Hello everyone,

I am currently seeking scholarship opportunities to pursue a Master's degree in Cognitive Neuroscience, particularly at institutions that offer robust programs in neuro-imaging, EEG, brain data analysis, and aging.

As an African from Nigeria, I am facing financial constraints and would be grateful for any scholarship assistance to help cover academic costs.

Additionally, I am keen to explore research opportunities in the aforementioned fields. I am open to volunteer roles that will allow me to contribute to ongoing research while further developing my skills. My background includes training in neuro-imaging techniques, EEG data analysis, and a deep interest in aging and cognitive decline.
If anyone has any recommendations or advice regarding scholarships or research opportunities, I would truly appreciate your guidance.

Thank you in advance for your support!

Hello Duruh,
I’m a PhD student in the Department of Psychology at Swansea University in the UK, and I’ve been studying and living in Swansea for over four years now.
If you’re exploring master’s opportunities, it may be worth looking into programmes at Swansea University as well. The university has strong research activity in neuroscience, with groups working on brain imaging, cognitive processes, and ageing. It would be a good idea to regularly check the university’s scholarship pages and also reach out to potential supervisors whose research aligns with your interests. In some cases, research groups also welcome volunteers or research assistants, which can be a great way to gain further experience and build research connections.
Given your background in neuro-imaging and EEG analysis, you already have valuable skills that many research teams look for. I’d encourage you to contact departments directly, share your CV, and clearly outline your research interests.
Wishing you the very best with your applications and research journey.
