Switching courses ?
Hi, I was wondering if it’s possible to switch courses at bath from Accounting & Management to Accounting & Finance.
I emailed them but no response so far, was just curious if it’s possible in general.

Both good courses so look at the modules and see what interests you more!

Hey it’s me again it seems like we’re the only one who do this course LOL but my offer was actually for accounting and finance but I emailed them and switch to accounting and management

We cannot make any guarantees of switches due to numbers management but if you have emailed us then it will be in our inbox and we will get back to you - just remember that we get 200+ emails per day and so have a lot to get through but we will reply to you.
Generally, switching courses is possible but we would have to take a few factors into consideration and look at your application again etc and so whilst we can't make any guarantees we'll do our best to let you know what's possible.

The main course I liked the idea of was “Econ and management” but bath didn’t have that so I applied for accounting and finance just cus they required alevel maths so it felt more demanding but when I looked into the structure more accounting and management is so much more interesting to me and better suiting to what I wanna do (consulting). Plus cus of how good of a uni bath is either course will get u far so I just went for what I’d enjoy more. (And the requirement is lower haha)

yeah i like the modules for a&m too, im also aiming for mbb consulting aswell haha, have you firmed and insured yet or still waiting.

This is just a quick note to say that although its 100% the right thing to do to get the ball rolling if you'd like to switch to a more interesting course, both Accounting & Finance and Accounting & Management will prepare you well to get into consultancy, and most courses from the School of Management here have similar placements. So if consultancy is something you are interested in, both courses are good choices 🙂
