CertHe then Degree

Ive been given a place on the CertHe at Drama Studio London. I loved my audition with them which I did online and I was invited to look round yesterday. Do you think (as someone thats been so focused on MT for ages and wanted to switch to acting) it would benefit me to do the Cert but then audition for other places for the degree? That's kind of where my brain is at right now. Ive got recalls for foundation courses elsewhere but DSL is the only place thats funded. I already did my Rose Bruford foundation year recall but even if I got in I dont think I could go because the course isnt funded. I will probably reaudition for RBC next year for the degree as well. I understand DSL isnt one of the top schools currently but it is still good from what Ive heard and I am excited to move to london. Ive been recalled for OSD, Old Vic, and Birmingham but none of them are funded and thats the main problem. I will hear back from Central for the gap year diploma at some point as well.

Do people think this makes sense and would work?

I'd ask your question on this thread, as there is a lot of activity and experience... Some students, some parents...

If you read through all the pages, there may be others who have faced similar dilemmas too.
