Ah right.
I'm on the new specification. All seems good except the How Science Works questions. They make me want to die a little.

I have the exam too, as well as Maths the same day!
I HATE how science works.
If it wasnt for that I would be feeling OK.
I just dont know what else to do for revision! I just keep doing past paper after past paper.

Hope so. Mind you it's not that bad. The most i have seen is a 9 mark question, and that was just on mass spectrometers.

im doing this exam on friday too. but im resitting it so will be doing the old paper. im quite confident with this one now, its just writing down the right points if you know what i mean. i just did a past paper and on section B i lost 2 marks for not writing that electrolysis of Al requires "carbon electrodes" ... wtff!

good luck everyone

I'm stuck in the same situation, havin maths AND chemistry on the same day :frown: Past papers are one way of doing it and there's nothing wrong with doing those...Maybe you could make really condensed notes using your textbook...?

And guys...are we SUPPOSED to know about the How Science Works stuff?

I think my notes are as condensed as they can be! First set of notes form book, then the next from that ;s

i havent done how science works, should i be worried?

No one has really covered HSW. I think most questions involve an answer regarding: safety/ better yield/ the environment/ economic value

Do we need to learn all that :santa2::santa2::santa2::santa2::santa2: in the textbook in those blue boxes?

Some of the things are like 10 billion dates/who invented what! That's not part of it is it?
