Type in the store number (Newcastle is 534) then your clock in number, that's your login. Then you would have been given a basic password on your induction. Which one do you work at?

any ideas how to wipe store footage? I think one of the cameras caught me scrating my bum

I just go accepted to work weekends at Primark in Bristol, and I was just wondering what I should expect from working there and if anyone has any advise?? I have never worked in retail before, so I am certainly nervous

Well I work in a Primark in London and I work weekends and here weekends are crazy! U will get training on tills, fitting rooms, store floor and stock room training but it wont be vigorous training. If ur put on the store floor than expect to be constantly tidying up the department ur put in and when the store closes expect to be behind for the recovery period (when u fix up ur department from the state customers leave then in while shopping) I say this from experiencing working at a big Primark store. Smaller ones might be 10 times better to work at purely due to the amount of work which might need to be done. Tills are fun and relaxing to be working at whereas the shop floor is a bit more hectic. I work in the PJs department and its mad but I love it cos im constantly busy. It does get exhausting but as time goes by u get so used to it that u wont even realise that ur feet are killing you. Sorry for the paragraph but Goodluck! I hope u enjoy ur time there!.

Hey everyone I really need to know the answer to this.

I got an induction at Primark Oxford Street Tott. Court Road this week but it's for the 20 hours a week contract, I haven't had my induction yet which is on Sunday and I'm wondering whether or not I can change my shifts to a weekend role instead of doing 4 hours every weekday? Is that possible? Has anyone changed it before induction or do I have to tell them on induction day to change it?

I'm a uni student man. I can't manage both Uni and then straight away go to work from 18:00 to 22:30 everyday. I don't have days off from Uni and how will I get my head around my Uni work if I have no time to study?

I recently got a part time retail assistant job at Primark. I'm contracted to work weekends, 4 hours each day and I have a few questions, any help will be much appreciated:

- The staff handbook says holiday entitlement is 5.6 weeks a year starting in September. Does anyone know if this is for weekday staff or weekend staff or both? My allowance as I only started half way through the year until September is 4.5 days. I'm worried this won't be enough as I'm going to need 3 Saturday's and 2 Sunday's off in August for my summer holiday which is already booked. But I'll probably need other days off for university open days? Do you think they'll understand?

- Regarding references I've never had a job before so who do I put down? There is the option for 2 employers and 2 perosonal. I did work experience 2 years ago but I think the person who I was with has now left so do I just put it down anyway? For the two personal i could put my tutor and a long time friend? I don't know what else to do as this is my first job

- I'm going to need to change my Saturday shift to a morning or do all 8 hours on a Sunday when it comes to September due to starting year 13 and my final year of A levels which is really important. Does anyone know how easy this will be to change? I'm fine working 4 hours in the afternoon at the moment I guess even though I have my AS exams in 2 weeks but i think I'll manage until then. I can stay with the Saturday shift for my prohibitionary period (3 months), could I change after that do you think?

Thank you for so your time x

I work on tills but I am looking to get transferred to mens to be honest. Whatever you do, never allow them to transfer you to womenswear as in any store, it's the worst lol! I love being on tills as I'm constantly busy and I find it quite fun with everyone there! For my store it's £4.26 but there are always opportunities of overtime and the people are amazing! As for customer service, I'm suprised they started you off on there but I guess some stores have different policies. Normally, the first thing that happens to everyone is to be till trained and then you either stay there or get moved on to a department. The tills are easy though so you have nothing to worry about there! Which one are you going to be working in? x

Whys it the worst working on womenswear? And what do they ask from u to do on it?

Ive just started the job and got my induction soon
