i'm pretty calm too actually, think it might be because i killed all my brain cells watching 3 episodes of Come Dine With Me (my mum's got control). i recommend it to all.

Or Charlie Brooker's "Screenwipe", excellent stuff.
Seriously some people need to calm down. All in same boat here and lfc4eva your being quite nasty tbh. Nobody has deserved any of your comments. Like its been mentioned everyone has some happy pills. And a big dose for you
Your results are phenomenal. How did you not get a place outright?! :s.
Thanx. I don't know, to be honest, even though the interviewers in my interview were saying 'very good', 'that's very interesting/clever' etc. But then again they could have easily said those to everyone. I went to a state school for GCSE and now in an independent school for college, but i doubt that's got anything to do with it. My SAQ hasn't changed at all since receiving the letter, which is why I think it may be less stressful to forget about the whole thing and just wait for LSE's decision, but I am too addicted to this thread
Back on topic, I think all of us are pretty calm to be honest - except lfc4eva. Cheer up and calm down, you'll probably hear something from some college soon!
Am I the only one that found that funny? Ermmmm....

i dont mean to split hairs or whatever, but at oxbridge level, grades dont really mean much. the only occasion where grades really will act in your favour (i.e. not against your favour like a few Bs at AS might), would be 90/95+ UMS in most subjects at AS.
everyone (well most serious candidates) have suberb grades.
I wish they would just reject me now instead of waiting for them to tell me.
It's horrible that some of us have to go to more interviews, spend even more time thinking about what they could ask, get our hopes up only to be told, "Sorry, you didn't get in".
Although, I am thankful that some college showed a bit of interest.
