arrghhh had my interview today for pooling... went kinda like my interview for my original college... not a good sign... hopefully i'll find out soon the results.
If there was no chance they wouldn't have done it.
So, to the people whose original college reappeared on the SAQ page, is your account still active? Because mine is not even inactive -- it displays an error. Probably they deleted it, because it was a waste of space.
Mine is still active, but I don't know what (if anything) that means. Don't worry too much about it, as there's really no point in my opinion. We've just got to hang in there and wait.
Fair enough... I'll find out soon I hope... don't want it to affect my concentration for exams.
Oh sorry! I thought you said you'd had it back at your original college.
That said, the point is still sort of the same. You did well enough to get in the pool, and that isn't an option this time. So if it was that you were really close but didn't get in (and it must have been quite good, because you've been fished out for a further interview), then they'll hopefully be forced into taking you rather than a rejection.
I don't think they'll leave you hanging for too long.

Yea I hope not... hopefully should get decision next week
My friend who is almost certainly going to get an offer hasn't heard yet so there is definitely still a chance for an offer for anyone who hasn't heard

95% AS average, 12A*s at GCSE, and would have been very good at interview. I think the problem with his application was that he was applying for history, and did AS in year 11 but then didn't do A2 until this year (e.g. missed a year and has only just started again) and thus his essays may not have been as good as possible. Also he was applying for deferred.
His SAQ says his application has been passed on to another college still though so who knows wha they are doing with it.
A guy in my school got an offer for Economics at Caius today, by text at 9 in the morning apparently.
What makes it annoying for me (a pooled Economics rejectee) is that he has very little chance of making his conditions. Getting 0% in a recent maths test isn't exactly hopeful for him (he was predicted a hopeful "C" for maths by our teacher, but my Head of Year magically transformed it into an "A" ). He's just a very interview-y kind of guy. If he makes his conditions then fair enough, but if Cambridge actually knew how good he is at his subjects I doubt he would've gotten pooled, never mind get an offer.

Maybe it's a lie, I doubt they send offers by text.
