I think that some people will receive direct offers tomorrow (possibly even later this evening), now that some of the pool interviews are over.

excuse my pessimism... but don't they give offers until the 10th/11th?

No mate, seems to be another dull day. I don;t think anyone will hear until after interviews have been conducted (which was today for my subject). So, I will probably know tomorrow or Saturday.

do you think they would phone interviewees with offers?

No, they've been known to give afters way after. In fact, some have actually had letters turn up at their doors right at the end of January.

Some of you might also want to remember that several admissions tutors read this.

They cetainly have, although a lot of things seem to be done earlier this year (including Track *shock horror!!*) so you never really know. It's not over until the letter drops on the doormat.

They are more likely to phone people who have had interviews, those who haven't are likely to have to wait longer, (from what I vaguely remember)

Some people are bothered by it and some aren't. Experience suggests that people forget that and would prefer AT's didn't read their TSR posts - so I'm simply giving a reminder
