I am no longer addicted, as I have now come fully to terms with my impending rejection. Cheerio. :wavey:

You say that... Just wait until you are actually told that you have been rejected :frown:

denial!

You have many stages to go until you get acceptance. :console:
I just bought an Iphone for £240 to make the wait seem better.
Then I regretted it.
Then the seller refunded me saying his paypal was messing up.
That was fun

I had my pool interview today. I know it says on the letter that we should hear back between the 12th and 31st January, but does anyone know roughly when re-interviewees will hear? i.e. sooner or later? When did most people hear back last year?
I'm far too impatient for all this! :frown:

How did you think it went? I don't think I saw you!

I thought it was okay, but I'm not sure! I really liked the man by himself, but in the interview with the two people I felt really stupid! :stupido3:
I liked the college much more than I thought I would as well! The grey brick grew on me and everyone was really friendly! Although I was freezing in my room all night - it was like an igloo!:tongue:ingu:
I left at about quarter past twelve, I don't think I saw you either!
What did you think? About the interviews and college?

I really liked both of the interviews, but I felt really stupid when I was with the man, rather than the other two! :sadnod: I thought I did the extract analysis quite well, but I think I screwed up pretty much with the Shakespeare one! God, I was so awful!!

Yeah! I know what you mean - it's so much nicer than in photos! I was quite surprised!

Ah.. I was supposed to get there for around one thirty (my lovely mum was driving me) but we missed the turning and ended up in Lincoln! Managed to get there about five minutes before the 'reading time'!

Oh no... what were the rooms like though?

 The students I met were really nice! But the other applicants I met were horrible to me :s-smilie:

If you mean what K-K and I are talking about it's English at Murray Edwards.

Oh, that wasn't very nice! The morning applicants were quite nice, but I suppose we had to have breakfast together and stuff so were more in need of a bit of moral support!

The rooms were all right actually, nothing particularly exciting (we were in the new block), but nice enough. They had en-suites, which was good. I think they're having a refurbishment soon though, so they might be changing, but I think that will be the old ones. Some of the art was actually quite nice as well!

I think most people I spoke to liked the two interviewers better as well actually, so it must have just been me!

hahaha sums our situation up perfectly...
That's good! My friend who goes there said that the chef is a dessert expert! What was the food like?

Ooh, refurbishment sounds exciting!

Was your extract also the beginning of a story? I thought it was going to be a poem!

 One of the students told me today that apparently the American Embassy wanted to hold a dinner in the Murray Edwards canteen (what's it called at uni, a dining hall...?!) and there was a picture they didn't like, the tutors refused to give in and let it be covered, so they cancelled the dinner!

That's probably a good sign then, because his conversation was definitely the most challenging!
