Just to make those who dont get offers, like me, slightly happier, I know someone who got an offer for history a few years ago. He didnt make the offer of AAA and had to go somewhere else...he now claims it was the greatest thing that has ever happened to him. So think of it that way. We can all go somewhere else now, have an amazing time, still come out with a great degree, and have a better social life.....
And for those of you who do get in, well done, and i'm sure you'll love it
I got my rejection letter today from Homerton. i feel fine lol. i've prefered bristol since seeing it back ion summer, and i really do think going there will be the best thing to happen to me
I find my predicament slightly amusing now. Oh, and a friend who went to Durham has told me that they rang him up on the last day to reinterview him, and he messed it up, but he's having the time of his life at Durham.
No word from me yet (was pooled by Churchill, SAQ reactivated at Churchill still). I really hope that they are waiting to see how well the people getting re interviewed do, and then reassessing certain applicants who aren't getting a further interview.
My dad is going on about how it's unfair that "you didn't get a second chance to resit any of your GCSEs so why should these people get a second chance for their interview" lmao I'd have to agree with him to an extent.
I really hope that they are waiting to see how well the people getting re interviewed do, and then reassessing certain applicants who aren't getting a further interview.
Everyone applies for castle though . I did at least , but got moved to Hild Bede .
Everyone wants to live in a castle, that's why. I'm really not bothered about which college I go to at Durham, or Cambridge for that matter. I hear Hild and Bede is nice though, one of my teachers went there.
I really want to get into Murray Edwards now... Since I left it yesterday all I have wanted to do is go back.
Glad to see you liked it since most people see it as the 'worst' thing that could happen to them (as it's women only and a new college). Good luck with getting in!
I'm almost glad I got a straight rejection, I wouldn't want all the agony that pooling involves.
I haven't been to Durham (as it's too far away) either, nor seen the video. I literally only chose Castle because I was looking at the Durham site about 4 days before my application had to be in, and I saw it was a castle, so thought why not.
