Without sounding arrogant, I feel cheated out of a place at the moment. I felt one interview was great, other one (general interview) was average, and I thought my grades were good enough. :s-smilie:

If they've decided to reject someone why not just tell them straight away. It doesn't take long to send an email

at ME:

atmosphere was very friendly. I liked it. There were lots of other poolees for various subjects and they all seemed really nice.

I'm still waiting on mine after being reinterviewed on thursday... There were at least 4 of us being interview... Though we weren't all there at the same time, I saw the person before me and after me, so there definitely could have been more people being interviewed...

Yes. I heard there were more state school applicants than ever before also! I still feel if Pembroke don't want me, someone else should have at least interviewed me. Are you thinking of reapplying?

can I just clarify two things please. :smile:

Firstly, those being re-interviewed at a different college will not be re-considered by their original college. True, false, grey area?

Secondly, are people being re-interviewed, are doing so because their first interview went poorly or for other reasons?

I will most definitely consider doing so.

But when weighing up the advantages and disadvantages, I have to choose whether my love for my subject > me wanting to study at Cambridge.

At the moment I am unsure, and a Gap year may lead to me neglecting work, which I don't want to do.

Perhaps a post graduate would suffice.
