The "I've been pooled" thread

Interview performance is very important. If you've been pooled then they consider you good enough for an offer so you've clearly done well at interview. The interviewers will have made notes on your interview performance which will be seen by those looking for candidates to fish out of the pool (to give an offer to directly or to interview again). So it's not only important for getting into the pool, but also for getting fished out.

What's the wording of your letter say?

You are automatically pooled if you have high grades even if your interview performance was poor.

Thanks very much Would you say though, that a good interview performance can compensate for below-avg grades?

I'm international and have been pooled, and the letter says that they consider internationals without further interview; does this mean i'll find out sometime next week IF i've been give an offer? Can someone bring about some clarity as to when those being offered a place without interview will hear back?

Pooled for Classics from Corpus Christi. Joy! Not looking forward to the prospect of another interview.....
