The "I've been pooled" thread

Has anyone got the nerve to email their college and ask them? They would probably tell you if you had been rejected. For me, it almost feels as though, the longer it goes on for from this stage forwards, the better my chance (which sadly is not the case). Anyone? I will if you will.

I've been trying to pluck up the nerve to call! I don't think they'll respond fast to emails. [Also someone on the decisions thread called up their college and got an offer on the phone!] Well, our inquiring isn't really going to affect our decisions are they, even if they haven't been concluded yet. We can't be rejected for being impatient :/ I just really want to know asap the waiting is killing me!

Shall we email them together lol? I emailed them last week, but they said to hold on until the weekend. So, anyone up for it?

Some douche in my school has just been given an offer by Emma, today (for economics btw).

Lol. I don't know how to phrase it. I think since my college has been changed on the SAQ I can ask about what this actually means [that is offer or just still considering. Or rejection.]

the waiting is killing me too! i cant sleep in the night, and cant prepare for jan modules! nor can i live a normal life! and my hair might turn grey any second!

Was this guy pooled then interviewed?

Omg, your college has changed? Then, you'll get an offer in all liklihood. My college has not. Let us match them in their generic phrasing my using the same template:

Dear *insert name*,

I was curious to know as to whether there has been any change to the status of my application, and whether *chosen college*, or any other colleges have shown an interest in my application for *insert subject*.

I'm really not sure if I'll get an offer as they're making me wait so long =/ Many people with college changes have already gotten their offers. My college change has made me pretty optimistic, although I'm trying to suppress any hope, because I can still be facing a rejection for all I know!
