Which college? Has your saq changed?


No, my SAQ has not changed college, which clearly means they feel I am a rubbish applicant, and threw my pool file across the room for the sharks!

EDIT: Pembroke.

New Hall

I know some people here have had reinterviews there :smile:

There's something with New Hall and my school. Last year 3 people got pooled there (with offers), this year 1 person got a straight offer from there, and 2 other people have been pooled FROM New Hall having applied there. One of these friends paid for the Eliza & Canning Fok buildings :p: But that was a long time ago and made no difference...

I've decided to call New Hall tomorrow if I still haven't gotten any reply. Perhaps I can just be like "Hi, I'm an international applicant for History; was wondering what this SAQ business means" and be all anonymous. If they get pissy I can hang up in fear and they will never know it's me :p: If they ask for my name to check, then, well, good I guess =/

I don't know...I always thought they compared those who were reinterviewed and those who weren't side by side, so decisions for all of them should be concluded at around the same time.

Lol, I just instinctively used 'pooled' to talk about Durham colleges. Had to quickly edit that comment. This is really getting to my head.

Thanks, if not then I'll reapply. If you guys were in my shoes, got a rejection and wanting to reapply would you go for the same college or a different one? The only advantage I can see is that the same admissions tutors would be interviewing me. However, I only realised over the last few weeks I applied to the most competitive college for my subject!

That is not an advantage! Apparently tutors don't like admitting they made a mistake the first time round.

Definitely go for a different college.

I don't think that would be an advantage, since they dealt you a rejection.
