YOU! have been scaring the life out of me, cos i couldnt get on to my SAQ, which i still can't, and then i requested a new password from saq, and simultaneously got an interview from Churchill, so i don't think ALL hope is lost at all guys!

ps. still cant get on to saq

x

Ok i guess we have sufficient evidence to reject to SAQ theory then.

Sorry! but congrats on the interview! good luck with it

Hey guys, I just checked my UCAS to see which numbers I'd given but I realised I haven't put any on!! My SAQ is inactive too, so I can't figure out if I left them a number or not, do you reckon that if potentially they wanted to make me an offer I'm not going to get one?
Eeeeep.
That's what i was worried about as well. But unless the system is that screwed im sure they will email you (and me hopefully!)

I don't think there was any place for phone numbers on the SAQ
(I kept a print-out of mine, and i looked through it the other day.)

No. rest assured they wouldn't let a communication problem affect their decision. My guess would be that, if someone did want to contact you, they would probably e-mail you.

Unlucky Mithra.

At least it was a nice polite email, eh?

Thanks . Yeah it was polite, just thinking of whether to reply or not, she says on the blog that people have been replying to the emails so I think I probably should  .

Have you heard anything yet?

Nothing whatsoever. :frown:
could anyone who has got a pool offer (not an interview) see what it says for their saq?

I wouldn't say that. I'd guess that if the SAQ changes, that might be an offer without interview. And for those that are reinterviewed, the SAQ still doesn't work because no decision has been made?! Just my guess.

Possible.

Maybe we will never knoww
Hello,

I have a problem and I don't know how major it is (and yes I have been pooled too; I'm thinking it's a good thing because I never thought I stood a chance to even be acknowledged). When I applied to Cambridge, I never received the SAQ which means I have no SAQ! Still got an interview but everyone keeps talkign about the SAQ and I still don't know why they haven't sent it to me.
Oh by the way, I'm an international.
So how much does my not-having-an-SAQ affect where I stand on the application decision? What does it mean anyway?

I'm feeling so edgy right now.
I just got a call, basically ran to my phone, heart racing, to be greeted by a vodafone salesman with some highly regarded 'offers' for me.
Pretty much the last organisation I want to get offers from right now...

My day has consisted of such antics alongside refreshing my emails, refreshing this thread, and now, checking my SAQ. I'm not going to bother with the latter anymore as I think we may be reading too much into it.

Actually, I think I can confirm the theory (or at least offer evidence in its favour). Two minutes ago - call from Peterhouse!!! ECSTATIC!!!!!!!!
Congrats

You got an offer from Peterhouse? Congratulations

Not to suggest that if it hasn't changed, you won't get an offer...I won't be a proponent of that theory!

My first reaction to that was NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! (My SAQ hasn't changed:frown: ) but well done, you must be relieved. My mum just keeps saying, they'll get on to you and then you'll find out - but how long will that take?

My SAQ is inactive, but i have an interview on friday.

well done!
Can I get a bit of info- I've got an interview at Newham on friday; does that mean I cannot get another interview or direct offer? I'd be grateful for any small drop of knowledge so that I can get on with my revision. I am glued to all your updates- good luck
