I was there on the 9th. It was difficult, but I enjoyed it really.

To all: the wait is the worst thing. I wish they just had one day where they would email everyone so you knew when you would find out...

I'm kinda giving up on cambridge, coming to terms with the poooooooooooooling of meself and kinda seeing it as a rejection!!

Lol, the College on my SAQ has changed to Fitzwilliam. So if your SAQ has changed to Magdalene you've probably been pooled into Magdalene :eek:

Turns out our little hypothesis was right after all. :p:

I applied for French and Latin (only to find out that I couldn't apply for Latin ab initio) at St. Catharine's and have been pooled.

quick question; it's one I asked earlier but that one got truly lost in the blaze of chatting poolees! lol - Do they phone your home number first (not mobile number or email)? and do they wait until the evening before phoning as people are at college during the day? :smile:

My parents are wondering if they'll have to stay in the house for the next couple of days in case the phone goes, you see!!

Any help appreciated :biggrin:

Someone earlier said that they had a message on the phone when they got home. So I don't think it's necessary. It's not like they're going to decide not to give you an offer because your parents weren't in is it?

You could always set up a call divert? That's what I'm doing..

GCSE - 5A* (maths, eng lang, eng lit, humanities, re) 1A (biology) 2C 1D 1U (not important :shifty:) gnvq pass in ICT and merit in "science"
AS - Sociology - 291, Philosophy - 290, Eng Lit - 282, History - 260 :frown: critical thinking - 287 (not important :p:)

They'll phone every number they've got for you, then email, then write, maybe try and track you down via the school etc. They aren't going to change their minds simply because you don't pick up by the third ring.

I agree
I cba with putting myself through this anymore. Would be nice if Catz could email me to tell me ive been rejected though, like Peterhouse have. They know, so it would be common courtesy. :/
