Congrats to the people who've gotten offers after being pooled!
This wait is killing me, they should just tell us whether we've been rejected or have an offer and get it done with :yep:

!! I logged into the SAQ with a new password, and my college has been changed to New Hall. Might this mean they have fished my file out to consider my application? At least it's not totally neglected in the pool..?

Also, everyone (pooled or rejected) can still login to the SAQ with a new password right?

Like you I was going to apply for history at King's! But then I went to the open day in June or July and was seriously deterred by the fustiness of the DoS!:p:


Hahaha he's my tutor! He's hilarious. Someone cried in one of his supervisions and was like 'please...please get out of my room...please!'

Hey anybody got pooled for SPS heard anything yet? I'm trying to read all the previous pages but by page 60 my eyes hurt /:

yeah I applied to Jesus for SPS, and I've got another interview with Fitz.

Congratulations. I am still waiting - was pooled from St. Johns. I am puzzled about the total lack of any posters for Chinese!

Nope. Most people in Europe got theirs yesterday but I didn't for some reason and I wanted to wait for the letter instead of e-mailing them...If it's not here today though, I'll e-mail.

Well, best of luck. I think because you're in Europe you'll either get a straight offer or rejection.

I am fast losing any glimmer of hope!!!
apparently they can keep offering up until friday/saturday...think it does depend upon the college!!! I just want to know now!!!

Well at the time I actually thought it went okay, not fantastic but not a disaster either. However I'm pretty sure I've been autopooled because my grades are high enough, so I guess they didn't go that well really...

i chose sidney sussex and in my spanish interview I told them that the name of the spanish newspaper i read was called le monde, which is clearly french!!! and the trouble is, i do try and read the spanish newspaper so i wasnt lying either, i was just so nervous! ah well, im still hoping someone will fish me out of the pool! you still waiting to hear?

So it's pretty likely that if you haven't been fished out by then, you're facing a rejection? Loads of poolees have already gotten offers!

I think so, my letter said that its unlikely you'll get an offer if you haven't heard anything by the 10th :frown:
apparently after the 10th your file is then sent back to your original college so either they'll make you an offer or they'll send out a rejection letter. :frown:
