The "I've been pooled" thread

emotions are running a little high..and that's totally understandable. a lot of people have the future careers on the line here, it's not really a small thing. we've all just got to hang in there and keep hoping for the best. pray that a miracle happens and you get what you've been working towards for the last 3-4 years.

the length of time they're taking to make all these offers borders on cruelty for all of us in this situation...

Crucio404, so there is chance you get interviewed by more than 2 colleges? fingers crossed! i was taken out of the pool by homerton... apparently female male ratio there is 60:40... and 70% of people are from state schools. nothing against state school, but these statistics seem really weird to me!

Appears that you can! I've got 2 tests and 4 interviews in total on saturday.

Seems strange that i've been pooled to this 'big' colleges. You'd think they would fill spaces. Good luck to you, and i'm a state school boy :P

Was pooled for computer science :frown:

just wondered if anybody else has been pooled for computer science, anyone received an offer/interview?

Does anyone know if many computer science applicants get taken out of the pool usually? Or is it hopeless

Hey, me too!
I've heard nothing so far and looking at the stats purely for last year there were only about 11 people who got fished out of the pool.

Still, I wish you all the best! :smile:

If you don't get fished where will you be going to study instead?
