in my lettter they say its not over until the end of interviews. so there is still a hope. i got interview invitation already. but im not too happy - the college that took me out of the pool is homerton... and its the strangest college ever. very far away from city centre as well. im hoping i might be lucky enough to get another interview invitation. oh well. im getting greedy now!

so, am i right in saying that everyone whose college has changed on SAQ so far has received an offer? (I'm not talking about the reverse...i'm not saying if u received offer that ur SAQ changed - just to clarify that).

DO you think Cambridge would dish interviews out tomorrow considering how short notice it is? I wouldn't put it past them to be honest but it does seem a little harsh, even by Cambridge standards.

Maybe but maybe its part of the pooling process to find out who are determined enough to put everything aside on such short notice, to attend an interview, and still after may be rejected.

i hate all this waiting!! i know im repeating what so many others have said but it's true! and i cant get any other work or revision done either because im too distracted by it

yeah, seems harsh but they said they give interviews from the 4th to the 7th...

either way, if i get an interview tomorrow I will be so happy!

The hysteria on this thread is absolutely incredible. There is still plenty of time- calm down!

Post-Pool Moderation

Colleges are strongly encouraged to continue the exchange of applicants after the pool interviews have taken place in order to ensure that the best applicants are offered places, regardless of where they were interviewed. This could be facilitated by Directors of Studies reporting to the relevant Subject Convenor, for compilation and circulation to all involved in post-Pool interviewing in that subject, summary information about those interviewed but not made offers from the Pool.

i've just noticed that in my letter it says that 'if a college wishes to interview you, you will be notified....between 4th and 10th January'. but on the generic sheet that came with it about the winter pool it says that invitations for interview are from the 4th to the 7th and the latest date to find out if you have an offer is the 10th- so im a bit confused
