shh....... do not make it so public - they may close down my only route

ok since it's on the low-key, we'll call it the 'bribe puddle'

a few people are in the same boat. i applied to clare too and that's what's showing up...

as to why? no clue.

Well, it's the same case with me... I'm back at Christ's. I think we've been unsuccessful at the pool, and therefore, our files have been sent back to our original colleges

So people could be "auto pooled" and "recommended pooled" is that right? Is this not just a case of differing semantics in the letters that ultimately mean the same thing?

My letter said I was being recommended to the winter pool but I assume this is the way it is for everyone in the pond...

Every letter would say that you were placed in the winter pool by the college as if willingly (phrases such as "we have sufficient confident in your abilities", even if you were actually auto-pooled.

Hmm, my SAQ is active again, but shows my original college. Oh well, gotta keep on waiting..
I still can't log onto my SAQ, still inactive whereas lots of you are starting to get back on and it states your original college...I am horifically confused now...but bored of pooling at the same time so couldnt really give a flying **** anymore.

Same with me...I think we've been unsuccessful; The Cambridge pooling doc reads as follows:

"Files of applicants who have not been made an offer direct from the Pool (O), asked to come for interview (I)
or kept under active consideration (B) will be returned to preference Colleges with the interview list on 4
January. "

So i think its pretty much game over for us.....

Bye bye Cambridge; Hello LSE!
I think it does depend a lot on your subject as to whether you should have heard by now, I am applying for SPS and altho I see a couple who have been offered after pooling (i think) I notice that on the Camb website that interviews for this subject are on the 10th so I figure I'm waiting until after that date until i start to really worry
I said that and now I can access my SAQ and it has my original college and now I'm worried!

AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! hahahaha oh well!

 seconded
we can be the cool ones eh
I honestly think that the fact that a lot of people can access it now with the original college showing means that we have pretty much failed already, unfortunately. It can't be that we will all get fished back to the college after all. So I guess it's better to prepare youself for the worst..!

Indeed.

Oh well, some people had to fail. :h:
I guess the hope is our original colleges have seen the light and took us back on, good sports!

It's too early to say we've all failed because we can access our SAQ again. Admittedly, the chances are probably low.

There's certain to be a review period where they try to fill the last remaining places, probably by looking at anyone left in the pool with a strong recommendation.
Well no fear for you with offers from everywhere else, I only have an acknowledgment from LSE so far and that is it...!
My SAQ is now letting me log in, and is showing Fitzwilliam, which I applied for. So I guess that means I didn't get anything? oh well...
