What's the longest you've gone without seeing your bf/gf?

I'm feeling really despondent as I won't see my bf for five weeks as he's in Kyoto in Japan for the next five weeks on business. The time difference is really inconvenient, and his phone doesn't work in Japan :frown:

. I was hoping people could put this in perspective... how long have you gone without seeing your other half before?

About 2 weeks. Not too bad.

After a week or so it becomes almost normal - it's the bit just after they leave that's horrid :frown:

And for me, it was 5 weeks and just as it came round I was pining and felt quite sad!

Yeah - I'd just spent nearly a week with him before he left, so that made him leaving even more horrid :frown:

I was going to spend another week with him when he gets back, but thanks to his evil landlady I can only spend two nights at most with him :frown:

not seeing James til Easter and the last time I saw him was Friday. So 6 weeks :| For some reason I think I'll end up seeing him between now and then though lol

We have been together for nearly two years ( anniversary on march the 7th) and the longest that we have been appart in 9 days. It was horrible :frown:

2 weeks but I survived. The worst was when I went to Italy for 10 days and I ran up a £200 phonebill

3 1/2 weeks i think. i don't find 2 weeks too bad, when you're in the swing of it, although it's nasty when you've just spent lots of time togehter. more than 2 weeks is really hard though.

either 1 week or 2 week while she went on holiday but she did email me from a cyber cafe, wasn't that big a deal to me anyway, maybe thats why we split up eventually

About five weeks. It might be longer when he goes on holiday and all the exam times, which will be hell.

you can talk to him on msn or with a webcam or something, or use the international calling cards on the landline fone
