Chichester Uni, PGCE Interview?!

I have applied to Roehampton and Chichester for the PGCE course and have been intived for interview at Chichester but now im really panicking!! Ive done about 3-4 weeks work experience in primary/middle schools and loved it. But now im worried that I wont know/remember enough info about schooling!

I know that if i swot up i will just get stressed about remembering it all so just wanted to know of other peoples interview experiences? The interview entails a numeracy and literacy (with pre-text) test with a partnered interview. Can anyone help?!
I'm applying for Chichester for Musical Theatre, and am taking with me a portfolio type thing for the interview. It has details about shows I've done and pics etc that way it acts as a talking point and if i blank i can look at it for insipration. There any way you can do something similar?? xx

From what I remember of my friends saying about their PGCE interviews at Chi - use all the experience that you've got to support your answers. Think there's a single interview and then a group interview just to see how you work with others. I wouldn't worry overly much about not knowing everything about schooling, they can't expect you to know it all as otherwise you'd be doing the BEd and wouldn't need to be doing the PGCE etc.

Best of luck - Chi's a lovely uni

Oh and the 3 people I know at Chi doing the PGCE are all loving it  They were put into placements pretty quickly as well which they all thought was far better than sitting in a classroom for 3 months before being let loose on the kids!
I went to a primary ed interview (not the pgce) at chichester and we had to do a written english test on a subject relating to phonics in schools and then we had a paired interview where we had to talk about an activity we had done in schools (and could take evidence to help if we wanted to)
dont know how different the PGCE interviews are.. but good luck!
That sounds just like what I have to do on Wednesday for the PGCE, how was it? Are the literacy and maths tests difficult? Getting worried about that! How long is the day? Thanks!
Sorry to steal your thread.

I was just wondering what Chichester Uni is like for sport. My PE teacher came from Chichester Uni and says it is very good for sport. However in the league tables for sport it is usually about 40th which is not particularly high.

Does anyone know how it would compare to these Uni's for sport:
Southampton Solent, Portsmouth, Essex and Plymouth
