Asking a girl for her number

I like this girl who works in my local music store and after being in today I think she knows I like her because she sorta caught me pointing her out to my mate and stuff and I was considering asking for her number but I don't know. I've had no signs at all from her, that she likes me or anything, I was just gonna take a risk. Do you think its a good idea or do you think I'm just being wreckless?

If I want a girl's number (or msn addy for that matter) I will just ask, sometimes bluntly, sometimes subtly.

i dont see how it can harm asking...........if she says no you can always find another music store hehe

Ok hunni...from a womans point of view which u definitely need....its your choice, u can either just ask her...however if she hasnt given u any signals...then u have to be prepared if u get rejected...but u can ask her if u want to cos she might say yes.....the other choice is to leave it for a bit and just flirt with her...then u should start to see some singlas from her that shes interested, then u can ask her...as i say though, its up to you.

Now then...as for what the first guy who posted an answer to this said...DO NOT be cocky and arrogant....it totally puts us off. Most of us anyway....ones with any common sense.

Guys really do give bad advice.

I don't think being an asshole is going to help my cause much, besides all I'm planning to do is ask her for her a number, I'm not going to train a parrot to ask the question and wrap it up in ribbons so I don't know where your coming from the sweet and cute stance. The store has security anyway, if I take your route I'll be manhandled out probably.

just go ask her, got nothing to lose. i mean if she says no, ull proly feel bad for a couple of minutes then get over it. am sure either way she will be chuffed to be asked.

Well I went in 3 times with my best mate today, the first time I was just looking for a cd with my mate and she happened to be in there and I was telling him that I liked her and she caught us looking as we walked out. We then went back in after having dinner and I found the cd I liked but had no money so I went home to get some then came back (I did actually want the cd but it was an excuse to see her as well) but some bloke ended up serving me; then on my college break my other mate wanted to go there to enquire about buying the full friends dvd boxset and she happened to be the person he asked about it and I was stood behind him but moved a little so I could see her and she was smiling quite alot but I don't know if it was just being customer friendly or if it was because she knows that I like her. I think the best thing to do is to go in again and see how she reacts when she sees me but I don't even know when she works; I'm only on my second week of stalker training :biggrin:

My mate said today that he would ask for me but I think it would be better coming from me, Id feel weird just standing there while he asked her.
