Moving colleges

Hey

Before anyone shouts at me for putting this in the wrong forum, i was unsure of where to put this and am aware i have probably placed it wrong. Anyway, i was wondering how easy it is to move colleges after my AS levels...... what if the college runs on a different sylabus for the subjects that i want to follow on to A2.... i.e if i were to do biology A2 at another college who ran the OCR syllabus and did biology AS with AQA at the college i am at now would this matter. Please help guys, thank you!

My best friend just talked to a careers adviser about moving after AS-levels and was told it would be very difficult because you have to follow the same exam board for A2 as you did for AS. I think this is because the content varies quite significantly. She was also told it's quite rare to find another school or college in the same area offering exactly the same syllabus for all the subjects you want to carry on with because even if they follow the same exam board, there is often more than one specification like A and B. So it looks like you might be stuck where you are for another year, but it's still worth asking around just in case. You might get lucky

After that, scroll down until you see the question: I'm in the lower sixth (Year 12) and changing schools because my parents are moving. Will I be able to get my A levels?
