AQA AS Biology Ethical Issues

Hi

Just wanted to start a thread where people could discuss ethical issues relating to the new AQA AS Biology Specification.

We're meant to be able to:

Dicuss ethical issues associated with trialling improved oral rehydration solutions on humans.
Discuss ethical issues associated with the use of vaccines and monoclonal antibodies.

Another couple of things:
Explain the role of scientific community in validating new knowledge about accines and monoclonal antibodies, thus ensuring integrity.
The applications and implications of science in developing improved oral rehydration solutions.

I'm a bit unsure about some of these because my teacher hasn't discussed any of these. Would be great if people could give some ideas on them

Thanks

As for trailing. They sometimes do it to students because they are at a healthy age and generally low on money. Is it right to offer them money to do trials when they don't really have a choice because they need the money?
