Probably the best thing to do. I mean, just ignoring something like that would mean that you compeltly lose the relationship you had with your ex (which by the way, sound really good considering you're ex's!!) So you have to think, what is more important? Finding out why he feels this way, or losing him as a friend?

ok well i talk to my ex allllll the time and we talk about everything together, we started talking about love and stuff like that and he hates its (long story aswell) and i started saying to him i love you, cos i thought if i say it enought times he wil love love.

so last night after i was talking to him about some home stuff i was about to go when i said i love you

he said i think i might just do as well, and i thought he was joking cos he always does that stuff to me and i always fall for it, and i was like stop lieing and he said why would i lie about something i hate so much?
i got rreally really freaked out he sent me an email today and ill put it up on a sec, what do you think i should do?

Listen i said i might love u not i do just i might but obviousley ur not happy wid wat i said and ur not comfortable with it. You cant forget it so maybe its better if we dont talk because I dont want to make u feel uncomfortable or aqward!!!

Why is he your ex?

I think the word love and the phrase "I love you" is far overused. You don't just say it to get the person used to the idea; you have to feel it, and they do too. I highly doubt this is the case.
