Er.. Most disquise it - The York Tories as of 2009 (which one would assume would be laden with 'Rahs') are mostly not - Though tend to become a tad 'rah'ish
How do you define a 'rah' incidentally?
Preppy, public school, relatively affluent background? Lots of Ralph Lauren ))

... when drinking - though the guys from 'other' backgrounds assume their localised means of diction - One guy becomes so Brummy its incredible, (and incomprehensible - I mean this in an affectionate way), and Kilbers sounds so 'small village outside Leeds' I need a translator (again I mean this as an endearing comment)

York Tories are just weird though. My Rahish friend came back from them scared at how odd they were.
Speaking from experiance most rah's you come across in York will be from one of the sixth forms or private school in/Around York. Most coming from St. Peters School & The Mount.
Rah's are not just people that have gone to a private school and love all things jacks wills. I go to Rugby and am obsessed with jack wills and i speak well but i do not consider myself a "Rah" at all

I'm not one to judge (not after just one tsr post, that is), but it's possible that others might consider you as such.

A classic example of "What goes bump in the night?" indeed.
I just realised what those gilet things are. My god, they are terrible. When I first saw people wearing them I thought they'd just cut the arms off those 90s puffa jackets.
