Myerscough college interview!!!! OMG!

Ok -i've applied to Myerscough college for BSc equine management (physiology)...
And i got an interview...
And i have to have a ridden assesment!!!!

It's not that much of an issue to me - as i've ridden for years anyway.. but it says to arrive ready for a ridden assesment - so i'm panicking - looking smart in horsey stuff!
AAAHH

But i was just thinking - what if you didnt actually ride and you were just interested in the floor, science and business side of it?

Anyone else applied and having to do this!!???

I applied to do Motorsports at Myerscough and so far as I know I've been accepted. YAY ME! :biggrin:

(Having to wait on someone to figure out funding as I live in Scotland and would be studying in England. :frown:

)

My sister did Equine something at Myerscough and if she got in anyone can so, don't worry about it. :smile:

But i am still freaking out.

Did your sister have to do a ridden assesment?

I'm just freaking out that i will look stupid turning up ready to ride - and its supposed to be a semi-formal interview!!!

I'm in my last yr in BSc equine at myerscough, turn up willing to ride on the day you don't have to but to be honest you might as well go for it, theres loads of people who ride but are complete beginners. they do the ride assessment cos there's optional modules later in the course that include riding. don't worry about it though honestly, it doesn't decide whether or not you get on the course and doesn't even decide whether or not you get to do ridden modules, its just so they know what kind of level you are.

i had it a while ago, but thanks anyway...
I was looking forward to it, because i know i can ride, so that wasn't the issue.
My issue when i went was:
i turned up ready for a ridden assesment- and it turned out they sent me the wrong letter and i didn't actually have to ride - i looked like a complete idiot

I had my interview about 2 months ago and this short assessment is just a masive bucket with just english on my essessment it have included wording senteces, putting punctuations in the right place spelling etc. this bucklet took me about 20 min and then they alloud me to look around or go home :smile:

I have an interview at myerscough soon for animal welfare and they told me to wear outdoor clothing. I don't mean to sound stupid but does this mean wellies and a raincoat?
I know this is stupid but i don't want to make an idiot out of myself when i get there
