i would seriously consult some proper material regarding the various ideologies you have asked about here. some peoples ideas of what they are and what they stand for is truly worrying....
what is a lefty then ? or for that matter being right winged ? etc

find an encyclopaedia and look up

socialism
liberalism
conservatism
communism/marxism

then maybe,

facism
nationalism
libertarianism

they all pull on each other...

if you want to know what communism is, http://www.marxists.org.

I've noticed that a bit with vienna too. It's a very bad attitude to have, not good for the person with it and definitely no good for those who have to put up with it.

On another note, I'm shocked that my 'Liberate London' party is not in the poll! But then it won't start up for another decade at least...

who would you vote for in the next election and why ?

I support Labour and will be voting for them in the general election. I think Tony Blair is doing a marvolous job (especially with regard to crushing Saddam Husseins brutal regime). Good old Tony has my upmost respect, the man is a legend. A true working-class hero for the British people. He works his heart out for the NHS etc (as can literally be seen in the recent scare!). If I could vote for George Bush I would vote for him too!

im reasonably well educated on all of those ideologies i listed. i have a basic grasp of all of them. my interpretation of them might not be someone elses. i didnt give my opinion, i merely told him to go and look in a textbook that will give you a much larger and broader starting point from which you can draw your own balanced conclusions. based on some peoples ideas of what socialism is, i think that was necessary. how on earth you see this as an 'attitude' and denying anyone else their say is beyond me...since we are making personal critique, you seem to have a very large chip on shoulder.

put up with it?
vienna95 why have you got a porno site as your homepage link? Are you aware of this? There is a picture od a woman bending over with her private areas showing and a sexual 'toy' object on the floor. I am just saying this in case you don't know its there and you clicked an accidental link or something. Homepage usually implies your own website/page, is that your porno site?
