For prestige LSE and Imperial college are considered the best after Oxbridge, but many other places would consider themselves as good or better in some subjects.

Nottingham looks very good to an employer. As does Warwick etc... and any university in the Russell Group of 19 top universities. Best get a Times uni league table or look on google

Durham is good - v. good reputation, plus some extracurricular stuff you can't do in many other places - e.g. debating

Also, Chad's is the best college in Durham - v. small, so fairly soon you know pretty much everyone, plus our bar has paintings of superman and batman on the wall. What more could you want ? (:

Yes but Durham has far too many hills to be taken seriously...

Congrats! You are the 167th person to ask this question since the forum was launched (and this is probably a modest figure).

Once people start to realise that it is a flawed question then maybe we can have some serious discussion.

The best uni is the one that suits you best, and that you feel that you could spend 3 or 4 years of your life at.

Clearly (after Oxbridge) the best uni for any technology-based subject is Imperial College.

No, it's not clearly the best for *any* tech based subject, although would be for most.
