My personal opinion is don't **** with what you were given. it'll only drop, sag, or come back on you in an evil way later in life. No problem with other people doing it, it's just not for me. There's too much pressure especially on women for them to look 20 when theyre 50! Grow old gracefully for Gods sake!

On the other hand some people do need plastic surgery for medical reasons in which case that's acceptable

I'd never do it, i don't feel i need it not that im perfect but i wouldn't want to change myself. tho some people have it for medical reasons.

Why are you having it? if i may ask

Because it makes me depressed and paranoid. Its amazing how something like that can affect you so deeply and how much it affects your social life, self esteem and confidence. Getting it done will change a lot for me

That is true, you can't just say its women, however, in high profile industries, such as acting, men carry on being seen as sex symbols and still get steady work whereas for older women it's a lot harder to maintain dignity whilst still getting work

Yeh. Its easy for people to sit there and say 'Be happy with what you've got' but when you obsess about it for about 5 hours a day, cry every night and have all your confidence shattered I think you'd all consider it to.

Do you think that perhaps being depressed has something to with you not accepting yourself with who you are? That is much harder to fix. I hope it goes all well

Since when are you a plastic surgeon? and that's silly of you to ask that.

when reading this it occurred to me that if you obsess about it so much then maybe you have a deeper problem?

it was just a thought, not meaning to be rude or anything

i've already asked that, and it's impossible for to know what she feels unless we've been in her situation.

when my friend broke his nose it was very very messy. What's so wrong with having it fixed if a person wants to? You can't judge unless you've just had your nose smashed up. I wouldn't have plastic surgery, but I've never needed it for a medical reason

like i said its just a thought, there was no malice intended. just that thought came right at me when reading some of the posts here

I wanna get my nose reshaped and have a breast lift and possibly in the future I may get some lipsuction around my face.
