Got with/Get with/getting with always a good one. I didnt know pulling someone was location specific. I think we should start a competition to make up words for getting with people in other places. I'll go first, if you're in a kitchen it's called bereteteallywally
(pronounced: bury-tee-tee-alley-wonkbonk)

I use met or meeting for snogging/kissing; can be confusing when you say you've just met someone

Reply 9

i say pulling to mean kissing anyone who isn't your bf/gf (i don't really know what i call it then, doesn't seem to be mentiond much!)

Here it used to be "pulled" but now it's "got with". The annoying thing is, my parents seem to think "pulled" means being chatted up by someone and keep using it because they think it's funny. Urgh. Parents should not try to be cool. :hmpf:

I've heard it's a northern thing to say "go/went with". Not sure if that's strictly true, but I've never heard it said before around here.

I use the term pulling for snogging someone, whoever it is and where-ever it takes place. But I don't like the word snog either!

Reply 14

"pulling" has always meant a one night stand to me.

Reply 15

pulling= snogging/kissing
getting with= having sex with...

Reply 16

i always use 'got off with'

Reply 17

i swear in london no-one uses the word "pulling"... I might use "got off with" or just regular "kissed" most fo the people I know say "lipsed" tho.... this may be a ghetto thing tho

Reply 18

i think that sounds too much for kissing...sounds like having sex
