What did you call chav's before the term was coined?

as above. my friends piss me off, because now they say 'chav' all the time... just because it was printed in the newspaper and everyone is saying it...

so, anyone remember the good ole days?

same here well I don't even call people chavs don't really label anyone anything after all people would judge me as a 'chav'

No, in my area Townies are the ones who think they are a "higher" class to everybody else in school (stupid hair styles, lates brand stuff etc etc)
