hey, i was just wondering if it's ok to use body butter on your face? I know you'd have to use a very small amount as it's probably pretty rich, but would it be ok to use? Thanks

I sometimes use a little bit of my mango body butter on my face (cos I like the smell:o: ) and it hasnt brought me out in spots or anything:smile:

If you have greasy skin then avoid it like the plague. Dry skin it should be ok in small amounts though.

I think you are probably best not to. Especially if you have ever even had vaguely oily skin or ever had a few spots or blackheads. If you are going to, I would suggest patch testing first!
Thanks peops  I've just run out of my favourite moisturiser so I was wondering if I could use some body butter as a one off :p:

And Evenstar...mine is mango too! From Boots. It's lovely

hmmmm if you do want to use it, id say perhaps use it as thinly as you can, like super thin :p:.. and if you have bad skin beforehand, dont even think about it

SNAP! I got the same set  It's sooooo nice.

I think I'll use a tiny tiny tiny bit and spread it really thinly and hope for the best! If it all goes pear-shaped, then I'll take the blame :p: Thanks
nah, it's too heavy.
I love my strawberry one from the Body Shop - it smells amazing
I wouldn't put it on my face though, i'm far too afraid of it bringing me out in a rash or something as I have really sensitive skin!

what about on lips? I ran out of lip balm
and E45 on lips?
e45.. i dont think so.. i think if you read the container, it says dont swallow? if it doesnt then it should be ok, but i take E45 as not just any moisturiser but a medicated moisturiser

Erm, why do you want to specifically body butter on your face. Is face cream not an option? I've done it, but only when i had a really chapped face (from the cold). Use a small amount though, yeah.

I ran out of moisturiser. But all is ok, the body butter didn't make my skin break out or anything and I bought new moisturiser today so all is fine

I get really dry and flakey cheeks and forehead after a full day of snowboarding and I use body butter from the body shop to help that. I've been doing it for the past couple of seasons. I have the satsuma, argan oil and apple christmas one. I haven't had any break outs and I was prone to break outs in high school if I didn't use the right stuff. If your skin is really dry, it shouldn't cause any problems. I find regular cremes are itchy and burn. I personally prefer the body butter over any other way to moisturize my face.

Yes, you can use it, I even put a thick layer - works like a face mask! The body shop butters do not cause breakouts - at least the coconut and shea butter ones - tested on acne prone skin!
