Hip Hop/R&B at Warwick

Was just wondering whether there are any Hip hop and R&B nights, clubs in Warwick or 4 da second year in Cov or Leamington Spa. I've looked around and Warwick seems to love its rock and punk...totally not my scene! And music is really important to me..so I am gonna be totally dissapointed in this area?

The union has Soul Nation on a Friday that I think plays that sort of stuff... (I'm a rock and punk person, hee). TBH, quite a few of the nights seem to be cheese; Top Banana on a Monday, and Score on a Wednesday, are pretty much cheese all the way. The union website is here:

But lots of the things seem to be end of term stuff at the moment.

Theres more rnb stuff than alt stuff really. You shouldn't have too much of a problem finding events to go to :smile:

theres loads of rnb stuff.. not much alternative tbh the only alternative thats really offered is crash. (unless ur counting drum n bass etc..)
whereas rnb has soul nation every other friday and also top b in the cooler has rnb every monday. and i think mojo is an rnb event? hmm im not sure... but yeh and leam and cov offer lots of rnb so i dont think u need to worry too much about the music scene.

Ok. That's a relief. I do enjoy some rock, but can't think of not havin any clubs to go to that don't play the only music u can dance to! (in my opinion anyways so no offence)
