hey everyone. im doing the coursework 'What effect does pH have on the activity of catalase?' for As biology. right now im on the part where u hv to write down all the safety precuations but i cnt think of that many. cud anyone help me with diff possible precuations. thnks in advance

What solutions and substances did you use? Look up their hazards on the net or on lab 'Hazcards' if your school has them, and find ways of dealing with it (eg pour slowly if it's highly reactive?)

Wear safety glasses is always a good one

Be careful not to break any glass / keep beakers etc near the back of the bench.

Mop up spillages and inform the teacher of spillages etc

These are all good ones to put down if there is nothing dangerous around - but if you're using extreme pHs these are probably corrosive and you should be careful when handling them.
