I'd say it was pretty much natural, although you obviously get better with experience. It's the same as most things.

I was probably terrible the first time i kissed a girl, but now i'd say i was pretty good. I haven't changed or anything, it's just got better as times gone by.

I would agree with that probably. I think it's very much a natural thing, even without experience you kinda know what to do....although that may be through social awareness of it.
But I'm sure people get better with experience.
