I burnt my feet!

I was running my bath, forgot to turn the cold tap on so got into a bath of boiling water, knelt down and stupidly didn't get up again, so now I have burnt feet and knees, they're really bright red after an hour and really difficult to bend, so painful! I've had ice on them but no change really, I guess I just have to wait for it to pass, yes?

Great excuse for eating ice cream

Yes, I should think so.
Last year I walked a mile barefoot in the middle of summer, on hot pavements - weeks of pain...

Sadly, yes. Try applying some E45 cream (or similar) to promote healing.

I just thought "this is a bit hot, oww" but I have really slow reactions, lol and I'd turned on the cold tap before I realised!

I will try moisturising cream too.
