Yeah  It's just a habit I've got into. I can't stand going to bed on a night after being out all day without washing my hair and when I wake up in a morning its always a complete mess!

whoa...!! i cudnt ... feels like my hair has been stripped to **** if i wash it 2 much
Maybe every three days. My hair goes a bit mad if I wash it too much, because its thick and has a tendency towards fluffyness. If I was a bunny rabbit, it'd look cute but on me it looks silly.
Every few days, sometimes I'm a dirty sod and don't wash it for nearly a week.

Don't you lot wash it after working out or have a shower every day?

and Morpheus - Because I have medium length hair, and I'm having to wash and condition every day, because it goes bad the day after.

Am I doing something wrong?

My hair is a bit over collar length too, you need to wash it in diluted baby shampoo, just enough to get a lather and let it dry naturally

What the hell...you'll be stripping all the natural oils out of it.

I wash mine every other day. For some reason it's nice and silky today *flicks it around*

Very true. the more you wash your hair the more you need to condition it.
Its the same principle with dogs (we have show dogs with long coats) if you wash them too much the shampoo strips off all the natural oils, the hair becomes more dry, brittle, and kinda greasy/crunhy.
sounds like it doesn't make sense but t'is true

I know... It's too oily normaly (I never use conditioner because of it...), I've always done it this way and it has worked so far (besides, I feel icky [childish but couldn't find a better term] if I don't  )
usually every day. since im normally covered in dust when i get home from work
