yeah i think so. defs can get a B. I know some people in my class did it last year and defs could get a B but not sure about A. will try to find out for u.
What about speaking and writing? I'm not too familiar with this situation as at my school, we had to do either Higher for everything or Foundation for everything. As Lil said, I know you can get a B by mixing them up, but I think you'd probably have to do at least half of the exans as Higher, eg Higher reading and writing with Foundation listening and speaking or something like that. If you do coursework, you could probably get away with doing 2 Foundation and 1 Higher as long as you as you did well in the coursework. One question though; if you think you're capable of getting an A, why would you need to do Foundation for anything?

Do you have to get an A to be allowed to do A-level at your school then? At mine, you only need a B in GCSE French to do A-level (only language offered).

Yes you need to get A's in french/spanish/latin at gcse to do them, i don't know why... it's the same with maths, chemistry and physics. I think it's quite competitive. now can you see why im seriously worried?

Your teacher should be able to tell you, but don't you think it would be better preparation for A-level if you took the Higher exams? I don't know about Spanish or Latin, but in French the jump from Higher tier GCSE to AS is big enough, let alone from Foundation! Which is everyone else in your class doing and which have you been prepared for?

If you do higher reading but foundation listening in either spanish or french, how does this affect your grade, can you still get an A?
Im talking aqa languages,

Sorry, but you wont be able to get an A if your coursework isn't good . On the foundation paper you can get grades C-G and on the higher A*-C You need 70% of the marks overall to get an A and as you can only get a C on your listening paper you won't be able to get enough marks to get an A. You will be able to get a B though. If you've got a high A or A* on your coursework you might be able to get an A. If you really need to get an A I'd suggest that you study really hard and go for the Higher listening paper.
