Applause Store Tickets

I applied to see Britain's Got Talent at the end of this month and recently received an email from applausestore.com saying Congratulations, you have now successfully been booked into attend the recording of BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT - LONDON.

Just asking to clarify, is this genuine? It's the first time I've ever used the site... and it simply states that I "print off this entire page and bring it to the show with you (& your guests)."

Thank you

Yes, I have the same (: What day are you going? I'm on the 28th in the evening. And yes, they're genuine, I got some last year for BGT and I got in. But they always give out loads more tickets than places because of no shows, so you have to arrive about 2 hours in advance to be sure you get in. I got there 1 and a 1/2 hours last year and we were the last in :/

cool, cool (: yeah, there were loads (about 100) people who were turned away even though they had been queueing 1h+ in the rain!! oh yeah, they make you queue outside, so wrap up warm! - well, it was at a different place last year, but i guess they'll make you queue outside still.

haha, i'm thinking the same. i go to school so i don't know if it'll be able to get there 2ish hours in advance. maybe they'll be less people at your show because most people are at work/school though? it's a really fun experience though xx

I haven't tried to get tickets for this show, but previously I'd had audience tickets for Ready Steady Cook twice. Yes the site is genuine, the first time I got tickets they sent them me, but you now get an E ticket that you print off.

As someone above said, get there early as there will be a long queue as they do overbook. I experienced this the second time I got tickets. Managed to get to the gates of the studio, but due to traffic we were late. And the AS representative said they had allthe people they needed in the studio, so we had to go home. (Long train journey back, I'm from Oxford and the studio was in london.)

It doesn't matter what time the recording is, the one I went to was around lunchtime and term time, and they were a lot of children younger than me. The parents really didn't mind them coming and missing school.

Anyway it's still worth going if you haven't been before. A really good experience, I want to go again but I haven't been luckily enough to get another set of tickets.

Site is genuine, i've had tickets for Big Brother/Friday Night Project before - all good. I'm going this Friday, can't wait!! We're traveling down from Uni (going to Birmingham) at around 9am to make sure we're near the front of the queue, we'll be missing a day of revision so have to make the journey worth while, lol

I've applied for Cardiff, hope they contact me, I got a call last year (but had forgotten about it and subsequently booked to go home), is it likely to be an e-mail this time then?

They have to call to confirm the tickets, and how many. If you didn't give your own number, I doubt you'd get the tickets.

i had tickets to go see Britains got Talent this saturday at Birmingham, and already bought my coach and train tickets. But today i got an email saying that 'Your tickets have been cancelled, blah, blah, blah' as there is only 1000 seats.. but surely they cant just do that?

They said dont come as it would be a wasted journey? But what do you think? Think the tickets could still work?
