As to your question, I probably wouldn't
If you hardly knew the guy, why would you want to? Why not get to know him first, then decide if you want to be giving him head..

Of course it is.
The chances of catching STD's from oral sex are in fact EXTREMELY low since the stomach acid kills any disease before it reaches the bloodstream. To catch anything you would have to have cuts in your mouth, but we are talking serious cuts here. I wouldn't worry about STDs from oral.
As for a moral viewpoint, I would but then I have no morals

BlueAngel, I hope you're talking about guys who you're in a relationship with. Going down on a guy, with whom you're not in a relationship with, when you dislike doing it, is lowering yourself a bit too much.

it's hardly the nicest thing in the world, but if you spit, it's gotta go over your tongue..
I wonder why girls put themselves through having to do that anyway. It's foreplay anyway, just move onto sex before any issue arises. I'm a guy thank god so I've never had to ask myself these existential questions.
