I would love to join but I am offended by the 'X-Soc' even though it has the Greek 'chi' relevence.
Why? If the abbreviation is an issue you can just write it out in full. I clearly wouldn't be intending to offend anyone - otherwise the name would have been "Christianity SUCKS Society". A rose by any other name would still be the same Society.
By the way I intended no allusion to Greek. It just seemed a more interesting abbreviation than C-Soc, and some people use Xtian as TSR-speak for Christian already.
Even I didn't know what date Easter was this year, and I'll be singing at church for every service in Holy Week! Although that's stupidity rather than religious apathy.
our christinaity teacher gave us this huge lecture abt how 'x' initially signified the devil and now it signifies Christ and how we're all gonna die if we say Xmas.
