Under 18s Breaks / Holidays ? Help =[

Hey all,

Was wondering if anyone had any info or places to start looking for a holiday or break for a group of people under 18?

Intrested in doing something with my friends, nothing huge or fancy, like a trip to the beach / hiring a cottage somewhere or camping things like that. Hopefully in the UK but could stretch to france, if the costs were fairly low. ;]

Trouble is, I'll be the first to be 18 in September 09 and were hoping to get something done this spring / summer. Driving shouldn't be a problem, have cars and licences, a few have anyway and should have by then ;p

Anyone know of anywhere or anything that allows under 18s for a weekend / week?

Thanks in advance for any help =]

You will want to phone ahead and check that though. Some are a bit uneasy about having large groups of under 18s while some don't mind at all.

Newquay?

Also, have you seen the chalet/caravan holiday in the sun recently?

It's £9.50 per person (based on four sharing), there is a charge of about £5 per person per night on top of that though, but you wouldn't get it anywhere else cheaper. Then you just have to pay for petrol and food, probably wouldn't cost more than £50 each for 4 nights.

I have all the tickets and booking form, will post to anyone that wants it.

There's a REALLY nice youth hostel in Bristol, well placed with 24 hour access. not the kind of place most people would look for a holiday but it's actually really lovely there. I've heard nice things about the one in Newquay as well, though it's a little out of the town centre.

im having this issue also. me and my girlfriend are 17 and looking for a holiday in the UK. Neither of us are too fond of camping and we cant find anywhere decent. Skegness seems the best idea, but nowhere seems right. We dont really want a youth hostel as it just seems cheap and the ones in Skegness dont look their best...sadly because if the image irresponsible teenagers have painted, we're also getting shot down in the process...
